Aug. 16, 2024. Reno/Sparks, Nev. – Northern Nevada Public Health (NNPH)’s Environmental Health Services (EHS) division is moving all permits, records, payments and communications to an upgraded online platform Monday, Aug. 19, 2024. The portal is the same one used by other jurisdictions, including NNPH’s Air Quality Management Division and the cities of Reno and Sparks Business Licensing Departments, allowing consistency across the board for EHS permit holders to manage all applications, payments and communications.

Beginning Aug. 19, EHS will no longer accept paper or email applications and forms, with the exception of food establishment permits in Spanish.
Users applying for new permits will need to create an online account at OneNV.us in order to access the system and submit applications. More detailed information and instructions can be found on the NNPH website, including a video tutorial on creating an account.
Existing permit holders will need to link current permit and records to this new system by emailing your permit number and billing email address to healthehs@nnph.org. Those who have already submitted applications, in person or online, will not be affected.
The upgraded portal is designed to streamline the application, payment and renewal process for all permit holders, including food establishments, pools/spas, schools, childcare facilities, hotels/motels, waste management, wells, septic systems, and underground storage tanks.
The system, accessible at OneNV.us, launches Monday, Aug. 19, 2024, and will give all EHS permit holders:
- 24/7 access to apply for new permits, pay fees, and submit amendments to existing permits
- Faster processing times and reduced paperwork
- Easy access to permit information and history
NNPH asks for patience during this transition, as there may be delays in processing new applications. Those who have already submitted applications, whether online or in person, will not be affected by this change.
