NNPH encourages air quality permit holders to attend upcoming free Air Quality Workshop Series

Reno/Sparks, Nevada. Feb. 9, 2024 – The University of Nevada, Reno – Business Environmental Program (BEP), one of Northern Nevada Public Health (NNPH) – Air Quality Management Division (AQMD) partners, is hosting a series of workshops in the coming months specific to Air Quality regulations and processes.

This series of workshops will cover minor source permitting, annual emissions reporting, gas dispensing operations, as well as dust control permitting. Find the schedule for these workshops and a chart with workshop topics and target audience here.

The next workshop covering Annual Emissions Reporting is on Monday, Feb. 12 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at the University of Nevada, Reno’s Redfield Campus, Room 224.  This workshop will cover when facilities need to report emissions, how to report emissions and record keeping requirements. 

NNPH encourages anyone with a stationary source permit to operate issued by the NNPH Air Quality Management Division, to attend this training.
