Reno/Sparks, Nev. Oct. 10, 2022 – The Washoe County Health District – Air Quality Management Division (AQMD) is recruiting for an Air Quality Specialist and Air Quality Specialist Trainee to join its team.

The Air Quality Specialist performs the full range of air quality control duties with a high degree of independence. The position investigates, monitors and analyzes existing and potential sources of air pollution and assists with the implementation and enforcement of abatement programs. The salary range for this full-time position is $71,926.40-$93,496.00 annually and the deadline to apply is Oct. 28, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. PST.

The Air Quality Specialist Trainee, under direct supervision, receives training to perform investigation, inspection, monitoring and sampling duties to determine compliance with air quality standards. The position also ensures appropriate enforcement action and performs other related work as required. The salary range for this full-time position is $64,916.80-$84,302.40 annually and the deadline to apply is Oct. 21, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. PST.
