Reno, Nev. July 27, 2020 – The Washoe County Health District (WCHD) and District Board of Health accepted a donation of 30,000 masks from ZLINE Kitchen and Bath last week.
The donation is worth about $150,000 according to ZLINE. The Health District will give the masks to long term care facilities and other vulnerable populations, clients of Health District public-facing services like Women, Infants & Children (WIC), immunizations and employees.
“We’re grateful to ZLINE Kitchen and Bath for their generous donation,” said Kevin Dick, District Health Officer for Washoe County. “These masks will be put to good use to protect people from COVID-19 transmission and slow the spread of the disease in our community.”
