Sexual Predator Convicted of Abusing Three Additional Victims

Previously Sentenced to 247 years in Prison

DA Chris Hicks announces that a man who was previously prosecuted by the Washoe County District Attorney’s Office and sentenced to Life with parole eligibility after 247 years in prison for multiple Sexual Assault on a Child charges has been found guilty following a separate trial of sexually abusing three additional victims. Jaime Oseguera was convicted of one Count of Sexual Assault on a Child Under 16, nine counts of Lewdness with a Child Under 14, one count of Indecent Exposure, and three counts of Open & Gross Lewdness.

While his initial case was underway, the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office learned that Oseguera had sexually abused the other victims, all of whom were known to him. Two of the additional victims were children during the abuse, and the third was an adult. Sentencing is set for November 22nd before the Honorable Lynne Jones. He faces up to 115 years in prison for his sexual abuse of these victims.
