Reno resident Samuel Pace has been convicted of two counts of Grand Larceny of a Motor Vehicle, Burglary of a Business, and Grand Larceny $5,000-$25,000.
Officers with the Reno Police Department were called to Corwin Ford on the morning of April 6, 2025 for a report of a commercial burglary. Pace had broken into the dealership, taken more than 86 car key fobs, and then drove away with two trucks over two days. In one of the recovered trucks, police found various identifying documents for a local woman. When officers went to the woman’s home, they learned that she had recently met Pace and he had offered to let her use a truck to move. The officers then connected with Pace, who admitted to stealing the key fobs and trucks.
Sentencing for Pace is set for April 9th before the Honorable Barry Breslow. He faces up to 20 years in the Nevada Department of Corrections. A co-defendant who was found with a third truck pled guilty to one count of grand larceny of a motor vehicle and was sentenced to probation.
