Sept. 1, 2026. Reno/Sparks, Nev. Northern Nevada Public Health (NNPH) is proposing revisions to Environmental Health Services (EHS) and Air Quality Management Division (AQMD) fees and is accepting feedback from businesses and residents.
Input on these proposed changes will be used to develop recommendations for the District Board of Health. NNPH also encourages people to fill out our survey to provide information on the matter (en Español).
NNPH is also hosting two public workshops for residents to attend online or in person at the Washoe County Administration Complex (1001 E. 9th St., Building A, Commission Chambers):
- Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2026, 5-7 p.m., (Link to virtual meeting)
- Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2026, 10 a.m.-noon. (Link to virtual meeting)
Spanish-speaking staff will be in attendance for the workshops to assist residents.
Following these workshops, the public will be notified of proposed changes, and a public hearing will take place.
Business Impact Statement Adoption Hearing:
- Thursday, Oct. 22, 2026, 1 p.m.
Public Hearing:
- Thursday, Dec. 17, 2026, 1 p.m.
