The Nevada Supreme Court has affirmed the case against Jesce Richt, after he murdered Jessica Griffin in April of 2023. Richt had been sentenced to life without parole after a jury found him guilty of First-Degree Murder with the Use of a Deadly Weapon.
“This decision by the Nevada Supreme Court reinforces what the jury’s verdict made clear: this was a calculated, deliberate act of domestic violence that demanded accountability at the highest level,” said Chris Hicks. “My office remains committed to pursuing justice for victims like Jessica Griffin and ensuring that those who commit such acts of violence are held fully responsible. While no decision can undo the profound loss suffered by Jessica’s family, this outcome affirms that their voices were heard and that justice endures.”
