On Sunday, March 22, 2026, at 6:48 p.m., Washoe County Sheriff’s Office patrol deputies responded to the intersection of Clear Acre Lane and Sun Valley Boulevard at Dandini Boulevard and El Rancho Drive to reports of a Battery with a Deadly Weapon between the driver of a vehicle and a motorcyclist.
When deputies arrived on scene, they located an adult male subject with a gunshot wound. The subject was transported to a local hospital where succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
This is an isolated incident and there is no threat to the community.
