On November 12, 2025, at approximately 9:30 p.m., Washoe County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a report of a crash involving a single motorcycle and rider in the area of Ironwood Road and Amy Road.
The rider of the motorcycle was pronounced deceased on scene. No additional vehicles appear to be involved at this time.
The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office Major Accident Investigation Team (M.A.I.T.) is handling the investigation.
The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending next of kin notification.
Ironwood Road at Amy Road will remain closed for several hours while deputies conduct their investigation. Please avoid the area and use an alternate route.
