July 29, 2025. Reno/Sparks, Nev.– Northern Nevada Public Health (NNPH) has two convenient options to get children vaccinated before the start of school.
Two back-to-school vaccine clinics will be held at NNPH (1001 E. 9th St., Building B, Reno) from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Aug. 9, and again on Saturday, Aug. 16.

“This is an excellent chance to ensure your child’s vaccinations are current,” said Chad Kingsley, MD, District Health Officer for Washoe County. “Our team will be dedicated to making the vaccination process seamless for everyone. We’ll address any questions you may have and are grateful to our families for taking the time to complete this crucial back-to-school task.”
Need-to-Know Details:
- Children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian
- Requirement: Bring your current vaccine records with you – If you have out of state records, plan to bring them with you. We will provide copies of your NV WebIZ Record if you have one.
- If no appointments are available, a limited number of walk-ins are welcome but will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Warm weather is expected, and patients could experience longer-than-normal wait times, so it’s recommended patients eat beforehand and stay hydrated. Staff will be working hard to serve families as quickly as possible.
