On June 17, 2025, the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office Human Exploitation and Recovery Operations (H.E.R.O) Team conducted a targeted operation to combat human trafficking.
Yesterday’s operation resulted in two victim recoveries, three arrests; four felony charges (1 charge of ex-felon in possession of a firearm, 1 charge of possession of a stolen firearm, 1 charge of possession of a controlled substance and 1 charge of possession of credit card without owner consent); two misdemeanor charges (1 charge of possession of drug paraphernalia and 1 charge of obstructing and resisting); two citations and one recovered stolen firearm.
One of the subjects arrested during the operation was identified as Jordan Robinson, a convicted sex offender for the charge of human trafficking. Robinson was previously convicted of human trafficking.
“I am incredibly proud of the work of our H.E.R.O. Team,” Washoe County Sheriff Darin Balaam said. “Human sex trafficking is a heinous crime and we will not stop in our unwavering commitment to protect our community and bring hope and help to those in need.”
