Following further investigation and additional interviews conducted by Washoe County Sheriff’s Office detectives, Nathan Krall was taken into custody and booked into the the Washoe County Detention Facility on a charge of Open Murder with a Deadly Weapon.
Preliminary findings indicate that an edged weapon was likely used in the incident; however, the investigation remains ongoing.

On April 28, 2025, at approximately 10:30 p.m., deputies from the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence in the 4600 block of W. Leonesio Drive in Sun Valley regarding a report of a physical altercation.
Upon arrival, deputies determined that a physical argument had occurred. Two individuals were transported to local hospitals for treatment. One of the individuals later succumbed to their injuries.
The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating the incident. There is no ongoing threat to the public at this time.
