Washoe County Sheriff’s Office Alerts Community on Vandalism in County Parks

The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a series of vandalism incidents occurring in our local parks. A group of individuals has been defacing public property, including basketball hoops, park benches, porta-potties, and buildings, with graffiti.

We take the safety and cleanliness of our community spaces seriously and are asking for your help. If you live near a community park and observe any suspicious or criminal activity, please report it immediately to our Patrol Division by calling our Non-Emergency Dispatch at (775) 785-9276.

Your vigilance can help us keep our parks safe, clean, and enjoyable for everyone. Thank you for being an active part of our community.
