Reno/Sparks, Nev. March 21, 2024 – The Nevada Business Environmental Program (BEP), one of Northern Nevada Public Health (NNPH) – Air Quality Management Division (AQMD) partners, is hosting a series of workshops in the coming months specific to NNPH Air Quality Regulations.

This series of workshops will cover minor source permitting, annual emissions reporting, gas dispensing operations, as well as dust control permitting. Find the schedule for these workshops and a chart with workshop topics and target audience here.

The next workshop covering Minor Source Permitting is on Monday, March 25th from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at the University of Nevada, Reno’s Redfield Campus, Room 224.  This workshop will cover who needs a permit, different permit categories and what permit you need, forms & worksheets you will need for your application, maintaining your permit and when and how to submit permit modifications.

NNPH encourages anyone with a stationary source permit to operate issued by the NNPH Air Quality Management Division, to attend this training.
