2020 State of the Sheriff’s Office
Washoe County Sheriff Darin Balaam released the 2020 State of the Sheriff’s Office report today. The report discusses accomplishments, challenges, and initiatives undertaken by the men and women of the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office in 2020.
“We had to adapt, we had to be resilient, and we had to find new ways to serve our community,” Sheriff Balaam stated in a corresponding video release. “While I think most of us are glad it is over, I would be remiss if I didn’t take this opportunity to highlight the work of the men and women of the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office, along with the incredible compassion with which they have served our community in 2020.”
